The Ministry of Health through the Medical Social Work Service is carrying out the MoH Prihatin activity by visiting the homes of underprivileged patients. The visit is to deliver donations, basic necessities and medical equipment to patients and families who have been identified and registered with the Medical Social Work Service in the four districts. This year, 17 registered patients and families received donations from the Patient Assistance Charitable Fund, the donation proceeds from the Ministry of Health staff, non-governmental organisations, private parties and individuals.

 

In the Brunei Muara District, 4 patients received a visit from a delegation led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health.

 

4 patients in the Belait District received a visit from a delegation led by Doctor Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health.

 

For Tutong District, 7 patients received a visit from a delegation led by Pengiran Mohammad Khiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusoff, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Management at the Ministry of Health. Also present were members of the Legislative Council.

 

Meanwhile, in the Temburong District, 2 patients received a visit from a delegation led by Pengiran Dr Haji Md Khalifah bin Pengiran Haji Ismail, Director General of Medical and Health Services.
